Binance Alpha is launching a trading competition that focuses on the o1.exchange token (O), offering more than 160,000 O tokens to the top traders who meet specific volume criteria during two weekly promotion periods.
How the competition works
Eligible participants must trade O through Binance Wallet (Keyless) or the platform on the Binance site. The first promotion runs from July 23 to July 30 2026, followed by a second period that ends on August 6 2026. In each window, the 2,160 users with the highest purchase volume of O will split a pool of 162,000 O tokens, roughly 75 O per winner.
Ranking is based on “Effective Trading Volume,” which multiplies actual trade amounts by a daily “Early Bird Boost” that starts at 3.0× on the first two days and tapers to 1.0× by day seven. A separate “Rising Trader Boost” adds 1.2× for users who have won fewer than three prior Binance Wallet Alpha contests, subject to a cap.

Only buying activity counts; sales are excluded from the calculation. The competition also excludes trades that involve token bridging or third‑party dApps, and Alpha‑to‑Alpha token pairs no longer generate Alpha Points for ranking purposes.
Eligibility and reward claim process
To enter, users click “Join” on the event page in the Binance app after updating to the latest version and creating a backed‑up Binance Wallet (Keyless). All qualifying trades must occur after the join action. Once a promotion ends, the system automatically calculates rankings and makes rewards claimable before 13:00 UTC on August 20 2026.
Winners have a 14‑day window to claim; any unclaimed tokens are forfeited.

Background on o1.exchange and its token
o1.exchange bills itself as an “Onchain Everything Exchange,” combining spot trading, perpetual futures, and prediction markets in a single on‑chain interface. Launched in 2025, the platform raised $4.2 million in a funding round led by Coinbase Ventures, with additional backing from AllianceDAO. The capital is earmarked for expanding the trading terminal, deepening protocol integrations, and developing reward programs for traders.
The O token has a total supply of 1 billion, with about 160 million already circulating. By tying the competition to O purchases, the platform is effectively distributing a sizable portion of the token’s existing supply to active traders rather than via a traditional airdrop.
